Positions and Academic Appointments

Faculty employment information like payroll and benefits will be entered in your Workday position. Your Academic Appointment will be connected to your position and include information related to tenure home, joint governance, named professorships, and more.

9-Over-12 Pay Schedule

Starting with the 2025‒26 academic year, 9-month faculty and academic staff may choose to defer 25% of their salary and receive it over the summer. Employees have requested this option for many years, and Workday will help make it possible.
