When Workday goes live at every UW System institution in 2024, security roles will determine who has access to what information, as well as who can take action on tasks and transactions. Security roles will provide permissions for everything from entering and approving financial transactions to recruiting and hiring a new employee.
Join us on March 9 from 3-4 p.m. for our next Workday Walkthrough, where you can learn the basics of how security roles will be assigned and how they will define what users can do. Workday Walkthroughs are an introduction to Workday; they are not training.
Eric Roesler, Chief Human Resources Officer at UW-Stevens Point, will also share his insights about the benefits of Workday.

Workday Walkthroughs (previously known as Readiness Workshops) provide an overview of Workday functionality, as well as a demonstration of how a specific business process looks in the system, with a different topic highlighted each month. Recordings of Workday Walkthroughs and earlier Readiness Workshops are available to anyone with a UW login ID.
